“The fuel transfer pump, which moves fuel from the rear tank to the front tank has malfunctioned. This has caused the fuel gauge to read inaccurately, causing engine to stop running, has illuminated the service engine light multiple times, displaying code p2068 and p0463. Vehicle can run out of fuel unexpectedly, due to gauge showing more fuel than is available. This has caused the engine to stall unexpectedly. This problem is exactly as described in recall document 13421 from GM, however, the VIN number of my vehicle is not included in the recall. …”

“The contact owns a 2014 Chevrolet SILVERADO 3500. While driving 65 MPH, the speedometer decelerated to 1 MPH without warning. The vehicle was towed to a dealer where it was diagnosed that the high pressure fuel pump failed and caused the metal shavings to clog the fuel system. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure and stated that there was a TSB in reference to the failure. The TSB number was unavailable. The failure mileage was approximately 196,000.”
