“When turn the car off and remove the key from the ignition, there are two speakers that continue to make static noise, whether I have opened the door or not. If I bump or hit the center console it will make the speakers louder or turn off. The check engine light is on for multiple codes, and I have worn out shocks. The shocks should make me feel as if I am gliding, bur I feel and jerk to every bump.”

NHTSA complaint #11317442, filed 2020-03, 185,000 miles

“Two weeks ago we put new tires on my Trailblazer at 28,700 mi. We were leaving for a trip and took it to have the front end aligned to be sure the new tires wore properly. We did not go to our dealer as there was no time before the trip. Upon checking the car, they discovered both my front struts were leaking badly and they no longer gave a firm ride. We had no choice but to have them replace both struts at only 28,700 mi. The repair shop was quite surprised that both struts were bad. …”

NHTSA complaint #10425348, filed 2011-09, 28,700 miles

“I have had many many problems with my 2006 Chevrolet Trailblazer most recently the transmission is bad, I had started complaining to the dealer about the transmission slipping at around 8,000 miles, the truck now has 17,000 miles on it. The dealer refuses to repair it under my warranty. The dealer will not cover the repair. The dealer told me I had to pay out of pocket. I was informed of this on 5/4/2007. I have had many many repairs done on this vehicle, something is not right. …”

NHTSA complaint #10189860, filed 2007-05, 8,000 miles

“Check engine light come one code p0461 - fuel tank pressure sensor circuit high voltage. This problem seems to be a common problem with the chevy trailblazers and should be a recallable issue. Furthermore, the suspension on this vehicle has been a financial drain from the sway bar links, front end links stabilizer shaft and ball joints.”

NHTSA complaint #10460119, filed 2012-05, 73,500 miles

“After changing the vehicle's battery, the fuel system, air system and 4x4 system have all failed. Gmc is aware of my issue and hundreds of others. They refuse to fix this known issue, this vehicle is very dangerous to drive.”
