“I drive on the freeway, and I lost any power with the car, I'm lucky my baby was not in my car on that day. It happened two times and I go to the Mopar service center, they tell me they don't have the part for that, and I ask them what's should I do with that situation, and they said that's a good question, I have no idea, but you can wait for the part and I don't know when the part comes in maybe a week, and maybe few months.”
NHTSA complaint #11505578, filed 2023-02“During the month of March, 2023, my vehicle completely shut down on two occasions, both of which occurred while traveling at highway speeds. There were dash icons that were lit, including a check engine light, a turtle icon and a message to Pull Over. The shutdown caused me to move quickly to the shoulder of the road, with limited ability to maneuver in a safe manner. These shutdowns occurred after the vehicle had its software updated based on Recall 03A (Loss of Motive Power). …”

NHTSA complaint #11511675, filed 2023-03“We were driving on the highway when we got a warning to pull over safely as the vehicle will shut down soon. The accelerator became unresponsive, and the vehicle began losing power. This has happened a number of times and we took it into the dealer who replaced the transmission. However, on various social media sites, it has been reported that this has been happening to many many people. This is an extremely dangerous situation for so many people unaware of the potential. As I understand it, they replace the transmission with a like transmission. The problem is not actually being solved. …”
