“The regulator on the front driver side and passenger side windows are faulty. My van was built in canada and it appears to be a common trait of those vehicles. This is a serious defect that could result in injuries. I went to my local dealer and had the passenger window regulator replaced once already. Now both the passenger and drivers window are acting up again. I hope I can get some help.”

NHTSA complaint #10167885, filed 2006-09, 40,369 miles

“We have a 2001 Dodge Grand Caravan, the driver's side window rolls down, but will not roll up very well. It's 95% broken...in other words, we could drive for hours and try to roll it up and it will not...this has happened many times and no one has ever been hurt, but I don't think it should have to come to that to get a recall ordered. I've seen countless forum posts with people having the same problem.”

NHTSA complaint #10175652, filed 2006-12, 22,000 miles

“Rear windshield wiper failed. Cannot see out of the rear window of my vehicle when driving in the rain, or when salt builds up during the winter. The wiper blade is stuck in the middle of the window, obstructing my view.”

NHTSA complaint #10159267, filed 2006-06, 70,000 miles

“My wife was getting ready to pick up my daughter from school on jan. 14,2005. As she closed the front driver's side door on our 2001 Dodge Grand Caravan, the rear (hatch) window shattered into a million pieces, and started to fall out.”

NHTSA complaint #10106411, filed 2005-01, 51,900 miles

“My 2001 caravans A/C had gone out a little over 1 year after I bought it. I guess it wasn't their problem to report or inform us when we purchased this vehicle that there was an extended warranty through the daimler corp due to a possible A/C problem). On this model minivan the middle windows on the sliding doors do not open and the back windows only open a sliver so my 2 year old son was practically baking the middle seat with no air circulating and no windows to open for ventilation. …”
