“When this incident occurred, I was driving 20 MPH in a school zone and my daughter was in the van with me. All the electrical instrumentation suddenly turned off. The van continued to move forward, but the turn signals, dash instrument panel, windows, locks, etc. All failed to work. I thought a fuse had blown or something. I pulled off the road and parked, but the van would only turn part way off. The motor stopped running, but the key indicated that the motor was still on. The key would not turn counter clockwise, or off past the on designation marked on the ignition. …”

“My factory installed sunroof has leaked several times flooding the inside of the van with as much as 1 1/2 of water collecting in the console. Water pours out of the electrical console on the ceiling of the van and more seriously the button on the door jams from where the side curtain airbags deploy. Also on to the dash seeping in to electronic stuff inside the dash. My major safety concern is for electric fires and more important for the airbags(have they gotten wet? Has the electrics involved gotten wet? …”

NHTSA complaint #10440612, filed 2011-12, 10,000 miles

“Vehicle was sold to customer without recall NHTSA 11v-139 being installed in nov 2011. Customer never notified; however, the vehicle had a window switch failure in feb 2012 at about 60k miles at which time the dealer used l25 instead of a complete win module replacement. Custumer was not told of the replacement and it was not reported to carfax or other entities. May 13, 2013 after a distance trip, custumer parked the vehicle for 2 minutes. When attempting restart the vehicle had power but would not start and shifter was locked. Diagnosis shows full failure of the win module. …”

“When I’m driving my blinkers and windshield wipers turn on and off randomly and the stereo shuts off ac quits working and the windows lock and can’t be rolled down and when I’m at idle it has very loud ticking noise coming from dash board I think it’s the middle area behind stereo this happens multiple times a day and some days it doesn’t stop till vehicle is turned off and I’ve also noticed that hitting bump in road seem to make the issues worse all of the above mentioned happens together at same time”

NHTSA complaint #11591665, filed 2024-05

“Airbags: I've never received a recall notice on the airbags. Should I have? Rear quarter vent window switch: I have taken my van to 1st cochran automotive in natrona heights, pa. They did not have the part to replace the faulty one, so they disconnected the rear window switch. I have received several recall notices on this part since, but 1st cochran never has the part needed in stock. I would like to have this fixed. They cannot tell me when the part will come in, and they will not call me when it comes in, can you help me? …”
