“I got my 2018 Dodge Journey crossroad new with only 36 miles on it from the dealership. I've had nothing but problems with my front passenger side camber being out of line. I had to have my struts replaced under warranty. Camber not adjustable, dealer under warranty made whole bigger for adjustment. My 2018 Dodge Journey crossroad now only has 64,000 miles and my front passenger side top camber bolt broke and my wheel fell outward. Thank god I was just pulling out of my driveway making a right hand turn when it happened.”

“Suv was making a loud whining sound took it in to be checked and was told the alternator was bad. Had it changed by dealership, I feel this should not have failed this soon when the SUV is less than 2 yrs old. Now the passengers side strut is gone bad.”

“We had problems with axels. After that the throttle control system light would turn on. Now the backup camera doesnt work and we changed everything and still doesnt work. Currently the car starts getting hot when we drive in the freeway and the AC blows hot air”

NHTSA complaint #11531486, filed 2023-07

“I am going through rear tires every couple months. We have taken by car to get looked at and they said everything looks good. However I can put new tires on and then 2 or 3 months later they are bald with the wiring coming out of them.”

NHTSA complaint #11422147, filed 2021-06

“The contact owns a 2018 Dodge Journey. The contact stated while driving at various speeds over a bump or an uneven road surface, the front end of the vehicle would make loud abnormal popping sounds. The vehicle was taken to the dealer where it was diagnosed that the struts needed to be replaced. The vehicle was repaired; however, the failure persisted. The contact stated that that the failure had become increasingly intense. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 17,735.”
