“After spending Sunday preparing for the week at my small business, I was driving home on the highway just before 10:00PM at approximately 55 miles per hour. As I traveled toward a T intersection there was a sedan that had been stopped at their respective stop sign; I quickly approached and the vehicle pulled out abruptly in an attempt to cross both eastbound lanes and travel westbound on the four-lane divided highway. …”
NHTSA complaint #11538645, filed 2023-08“My Bronco was running while parked and another driver struck my driver side fender at about 60mph. Which spun my car about 180° and about 15 feet from where i was parked. None of the airbags went off even though the vehicle should have sustained sufficient sideways motion. The fuel shut off was activated and the radio notified me of a crash but my 911 assist wasn't set. I asked ford and my body shop who haven't been able to tell me why my airbags didn't deploy”
NHTSA complaint #11425233, filed 2021-07“Rear Belt Monitor Fault continues to be an issue. We received this warning light and supposedly had this repaired in October of 2024. The dealership replaced the rear seat belt buckle and reset the codes. This worked for a while but now is happening again. Additionally, we are receiving an airbag warning related to the rear belt monitor. When driving even short distances the warning light appears on screen maybe 5 or 6 times. If a seat belt is disconnected there is no audible warning alert or light to let the driver know that it is not in use. …”
NHTSA complaint #11710599, filed 2026-01“On July 10th this vehicle was hit at a high rate of speed by another vehicle. I was a passenger in this ford Bronco sport, non of the airbags went off. The driver of the Bronco and i were both injured.”
NHTSA complaint #11425733, filed 2021-07“I was involved in an accident with a deer. It impacted my driver door. The impact and physical damage were minimal to moderate. However, at least 6 airbags deployed, totaling out the vehicle. There have been some recalls on 2021 Broncos for faulty airbag sensors. There was no recall on mine. Yet, I believe these sensors were faulty as it was a minor impact to the vehicle. As I had purchased this vehicle before inflated prices and inflated interest, my financial loss is great. Had at least 6 airbags not deployed, my vehicle would not be a total loss.”
