“I've reached out to my Ford dealers for over a year in regards to the notices I've recieved in the the mail. I keep getting the run around that don't have the the parts in stock. I called last week they said parts would be in this week. Called again & was hung up on. I am beyond frustrated with this matter in regards to my safety as well as my passengers!”

NHTSA complaint #11219781, filed 2019-06, 158,000 miles

“Received a letter from Ford concerning airbag recall 17v-024 advising me that a repair is available for my vehicle. I went to my dealer in mendham, nj and they say the part is not available. This has been over 2 years since the recall was announced. Obviously Ford does not take your recalls or our safety into account.”

NHTSA complaint #11150947, filed 2018-11, 107,842 miles

“Takata recall. I was notified over one year ago that our Ford EDGE has faulty and dangerous air bags. I was told in a letter from Ford that when the new bags are in stock, they will replace the current ones. So far, 3 calls to dealer, no replacement is in stock. Meanwhile, I am driving my family in a dangerous car ?”

NHTSA complaint #10970759, filed 2017-04, 85,000 miles

“Takata airbags. We have been told to not allow anyone to ride in the passanger seat. This makes the car very unusable. Ford has no idea when replacement bags will be available. They have offered no loaner car. I want to disconnect the troublesome airbag so we can use the car. No damage yet.”

NHTSA complaint #11064215, filed 2018-01, 30,400 miles

“Once we learned of the recall for the airbags we contacted the dealer immediately. We were told that they would replace them in 6 months. That was over a year ago and nothing has happened. We've asked numerous times (anderson Ford) in kingman az and were told they would call us. It's been years. Now what? As a result at this time the passenger airbag is turned off and my passengers have no protection.”
