“The contact owns a 2016 Ford Edge. The contact stated that the check engine warning light illuminated intermittently. The contact stated that while refueling, the accelerator pedal had to be slightly depressed to prevent the vehicle from stalling. The vehicle had been taken to the dealer where it was diagnosed and determined that ignition coil #3 had failed and needed to be replaced. The vehicle was repaired. The contact stated that after the repair, the vehicle would emit excessive exhaust fumes when accelerating and while starting the vehicle. …”
