“While driving the vehicle, it will go into a reduce power mode or sometimes stall. This has happened at various speeds, from around town to highway driving. Very dangerous condition when trying to make left turns and power is lost or engine stalls. Also engine fails to start or starts and stalls right away on occasion. Call Ford customer relations and dealer and they tell me my VIN is not covered under the recall. I am experiencing the same symptoms but I am not covered. Don't want to spend more money at dealer if they don't know what is happening and how to fix it.”

NHTSA complaint #10501155, filed 2013-03, 101,000 miles

“I have taken vehicle to armstrong Ford, world Ford, and then sawgrass Ford at least 6 times for the same problem.... My vehicle jumps forward when I am not even pushing on the gas pedal. Or it dies when it's on idle position. They have changed parts, done recall repairs, and the last time I had to pay over $100.00 for them to tell me they couldn't find the cause of the problem. I am afraid one day someone is going to cross in front of me and this vehicle is going to jump forward and hurt someone!!! I am tired of this problem I. Have been dealing with this since a month after I bought it!!! …”
