“While driving, multiple warning lights illuminate simultaneously — ABS, brake, and all driver assist/safety systems — and the drive mode drops to Standard Locked. During these events the anti-lock braking, stability control, traction control, and trailer sway control systems appear to go offline. I have photographs of the illuminated warnings. My own OBD-II scan on 7/9/26 recorded U0121 (lost communication with ABS module), U0415 (invalid data from ABS module), U3035 (communication authentication failure), and U1012. …”
NHTSA complaint #11750179, filed 2026-07“Multiple times while I am driving my 2024 F250 on the highway while using cruise control, my truck's speed limit sign reading system mis-reads the 70 mph speed limit signs as a 35 mph sign and automatically activates emergency braking down to 35 mph unless I disengage the cruise control system. My local dealer confirmed the problem during a test drive, updated the software and advised the problem was solved. However, the same problem occurred several times this weed while I was driving on the highway. I believe that it is only a. matter of time until my truck causes an accident on the highway.”
NHTSA complaint #11770742, filed 2026-10“With 652 miles the vehicle initially went to the Ford Dealership due to pulling to the right on a straightaway road. It’s been back to two different dealerships on four more occasions and the vehicle still pulls hard to the right. Ford engineers have looked at it and the problem can’t be fixed. The vehicle now has 4,000 miles on it.”
NHTSA complaint #11657989, filed 2025-04“Automatic Emergency Braking engaged while the vehicle was in neutral tow. Resulted in 2 rear blown tires and damaged rims on vehicle.Attached the F250 correctly to the motorhome and confirmed truck was in neutral tow. Starting pulling the F250 and confirmed by looking at mirrors on the motorhome and rear camera that the wheels on the F250 were rolling both front axel and rear axel. After several blocks felt a hard tug while driving the motorhome, looked in the side mirror and rear camera and noticed smoke coming from rear tires. We pulled over on highway and stopped towing the vehicle. …”
