“Vehicle: 2024 Ford F-250 Component: STRUCTURE – SUNROOF/MOONROOF Summary: While driving at highway speed (~75 mph) on I-75, the twin-panel moonroof suddenly exploded outward with a loud bang. All glass was expelled upward/outward; no glass fell into the cabin or onto the sunshade. No vehicles nearby, no overpasses, no impact evidence on paint/roof, no strike point visible on remaining glass edges. Vehicle has a documented history of three prior dealership repairs/adjustments for leaks and alignment issues with the sunroof assembly at Sam Galloway Ford. …”

The contact received notification of NHTSA Campaign Number: 24V806000 (BACK OVER PREVENTION, STRUCTURE); however, the part to do the recall repair was not yet available. The local dealer was not contacted. The contact stated that the manufacturer had exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. The manufacturer was not made aware of the issue. The contact had not experienced a failure. VIN tool confirms parts not available.”
