“The dealer had attempted to repair the recall 26C10 on my truck that tows daily. The team has attempted to fix this problem with 3 service visits and performed multiple software flashes for Recall 26C10 which have failed to fix the safety defect. The trailer module hardware is bricked. Now I’m being told the module is on national back order and they are unsure what to do next.ñ, if this is even the fix. This is a serious safety issue that makes my truck useless for towing which is a major part of our regular use.”

NHTSA complaint #11747504, filed 2026-06

“While driving, multiple warning lights illuminate simultaneously — ABS, brake, and all driver assist/safety systems — and the drive mode drops to Standard Locked. During these events the anti-lock braking, stability control, traction control, and trailer sway control systems appear to go offline. I have photographs of the illuminated warnings. My own OBD-II scan on 7/9/26 recorded U0121 (lost communication with ABS module), U0415 (invalid data from ABS module), U3035 (communication authentication failure), and U1012. …”

NHTSA complaint #11750179, filed 2026-07

“Wrench light on dash comes on sporadically with message that there is a powertrain malfunction / reduced power. It said the system has detected a powertrain or 4 WD fault. Reduced power may put both the driver and others at risk depending on the area in which this occurs, ex interstate. Dealer has yet to remedy problem. Car has been to the dealer service department 4 times for this issue. …”

NHTSA complaint #11769900, filed 2026-10

“Automatic Emergency Braking engaged while the vehicle was in neutral tow. Resulted in 2 rear blown tires and damaged rims on vehicle.Attached the F250 correctly to the motorhome and confirmed truck was in neutral tow. Starting pulling the F250 and confirmed by looking at mirrors on the motorhome and rear camera that the wheels on the F250 were rolling both front axel and rear axel. After several blocks felt a hard tug while driving the motorhome, looked in the side mirror and rear camera and noticed smoke coming from rear tires. We pulled over on highway and stopped towing the vehicle. …”
