Example complaints

Brakes: “I was driving the truck and applied the brakes to slow down for a turn, the anti-lock brake system activated and I lost the power steering and power brakes. There is steering fluid all over the engine so apparently either a line broke or the reservoir broke. This truck has the hydro boost brake system which is why I lost the steering and the brakes.”

Steering: “Vehicle does not remember its previous settings: The following features may or may not be on, even if you have actively went through and turned them off or on. Local dealership has had this truck over 4 times and for days at a time. Nothing has been resolved of these safety functions. Rear automatic emergency braking Engine brake Lane departure warning (which actually jerks steering wheel if it is on and you get close to the edge of the lane) Lane centering assistance These safety sensitive functions turn themselves on and off, no matter the amount of computer updates through the dealer. …”

The manufacturer was made aware of the issue and confirmed that parts were not yet available. The contact had not experienced a failure. VIN tool confirms parts not available.”
