Example complaints

Fuel system: “Fuel tank delaminating, causing fuel system to have to be replaced and 4 injectors need to be replace. Ford says that we do not maintenance our vehicles and used bad fuel. This is outragious. I have a total of 5 trucks and all will have the same issue. Still paying for the vehicle. Injectors are constantly going out as well. Alternator was replaced after 1 year.”

Engine cooling: “3/11/09~ had to replace EGR cooler, failed componet, replaced oil cooler, flushed cooling system, replace EGR valve and EGR valve got stuck again. 6/18/09~ 3 months later back in shop again for same problem and replaced EGR valve assembly again. 7/14/09 back again in shop again for same problem and replaed hose, tank assembly. 8/25/10~ back in shop again now for faulty fuel pump. 9/16/10~ 1 month later, had to replace 2 injectors. 10/28/10 ~ back again 1 month later to replace another 1 injectors.”

NHTSA complaint #10401600, filed 2011-05, 61,481 miles

Air bags: “Purchased a 2007 kia sorento lx on may 29,2007. I noticed that the passenger air bag light remained on even when someone that meets according to kia the 50lb minimum weight capacity.the passenger air bag light works intermittently. It also blinks on and off. I have taken my vehicle in and spoke with customer service reps including the manager on several occasions to no avail. They seem to be as perplexed as I. I was recently told that kia seems to feel that this is happening because the cushioning needs to be broken in. That is absurd. Please people if you are having this issue or any issue. …”
