NHTSA complaint #11064238, filed 2018-01, 147,725 miles

“Extremely poor gas mileage on my 2001 Ford Focus, . Hesitation started over the last couple of months. Had a full tune up. Now the car hesitates at all speeds and it seems like it is going to stall at any moment. Did a recall search and found out that the fuel pump is on recall for that particular model and year so I am heading to the dealer the first of the week to get it done. Fingers crossed.”

NHTSA complaint #10845550, filed 2016-03, 155,000 miles

“Took vehicle in for replacement of fuel pump that was on recall program number 03n01 due to having the vehicle stall on me twice in a single day. Dealership did replace fuel pump but stated the stalling problem was due to the pvc valve was collapse and shutting off the air supply to the engine. That had to be replace at my expense at a cost of over $200.”
