“Got the car 3 years about a year ago I added my car reader to my vehicle at that time it showed me the two recalls I think it's causing my car to die on me as I'm driving on the road this start a week ago and in still without a vehicle I was broke skyland lane on memorial and I broke down. On eastman rd last night going home lost all power.”
NHTSA complaint #11326292, filed 2020-05, 175,874 miles“I've had to get the wheel bearings fixed 3 times. The electrical warning lights go off and on for example the engine light comes on and then goes off for no reason and the same with the airbag light. Also the sensor for the passenger seat that senses a person or a inanimate load is incorrect sometimes. And last, when I punch my excellorator to go on the freeway, it doesn't kick into overdrive every time. More times it doesn't than does.”
NHTSA complaint #11179958, filed 2019-02, 60,000 miles“I am driving on the highway, and the used car I just bought with in the last week is shuddering, jerking, and slip out of gear. It only had one owner, and a little over 56,000 miles. Now I have only put 125 miles on it, and it does this. Since it slows down quickly with a fierce jerk of the car, I was lucky and did not cause an accident because of the problem, and other cars behind me slamming on there brakes.”
NHTSA complaint #10820753, filed 2016-01, 56,998 miles“When slowing down (coasting or breaking) the accelerator hangs. It will hold at a constant RPM (between 2500 and 4000, different each time) I have to put the car in neutral and depress the throttle all the way several times. I checked the throttle cable and there is still tension on it so it is not mechanical between the pedal and the throttle body. Almost seems like a neutral sensor.”
NHTSA complaint #10456716, filed 2012-04, 64,000 miles“My air conditioner quit working to soon only about 4 years old at the time was told by mechanic that my compressor was out completly. I also have changed my low beam head light about 4 times why? Another problem I have is my rear end tires keep wearing out way faster than the front tires why? Also while I drive my car squeaks the noise comes from my dash and under my dash more so when I drive slower like around town also why?”
