“I took my car to have the airbag recall fixed and the dealership told me my airbags being replaced won't make my airbag light on the dash go off. It is something something else idk they wanted to charge me to diagnose it. It just doesn't make sense they are fixing the airbags yet the airbag light will not go off even after they are replaced. Makes absolutely no sense.”

“The contact owns a 2007 Ford Fusion. After the driver buckled the seat belt, the seat belt exploded and locked the driver in the seat. The air bags did not deploy. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic where it was diagnosed that there was a moisture failure and the seat belt restraint on the driver and passenger sides needed to be repaired. The contact was informed that the air bag warning indicator was supposed to illuminate in order for the failure to occur. The vehicle was repaired. The dealer was not contacted about the failure. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. …”

“The contact owns a 2007 Ford Fusion. The contact was driving approximately 65 MPH, the vehicle suddenly swerved into another lane. The brakes locked when pressure was applied and the vehicle began to spin uncontrollably. When the brakes were engaged there was a clicking noise coming from the rear of the vehicle. The vehicle would not slow down and accelerated up an embankment and into a dirt mound. The seat belt failed to secure the contact and caused her to forcefully strike the windshield area. The contact sustained eye, neck and back injuries. The air bags failed to deploy during the crash. …”
