“My car seat undercarriage is disattached. I took my car in to a nearby Ford dealership and was told my VIN number was not associated with the recalls. Although my car's VIN did not have a recall, I am having the same issues as everyone else that had a recall. I was unable to adjust my car seat for suitable driving and therefore ended up having an accident. I tried to reach out to several companies in reference to my seat issue. No one could help me bc my VIN number didn't match. …”

NHTSA complaint #11386479, filed 2021-01, 125,000 miles

“I've had the car for about 8 months now. First the seats stopped moving back and forth. No warranty on the car so took it to my local Ford and they said it was off its track. A month later the same problem occurred and they said my seat stopped sending commands to the computer. Now three months later my car randomly started making a loud rattling noise. Got louder every time I started the car. So once again took it to my nearby Ford. They checked it out and said my flex plate has cracked all around and that it would be a $1600 repair. This car is still fairly new. …”

NHTSA complaint #11412899, filed 2021-04, 103,000 miles

“On 11/6/2025 we were rear ended at a dead stop. The posted speed limit was 35mph. The Other driver that hit us did not see us or attempt to stop, this vehicle was a hummer. The car was totaled. The front passenger seat collapsed, tilted backwards in a laying down position during impact. Injuries did occur and are being treated. After the wreck I attempted to raise the electric seat , you can hear the motor trying to lift the seat but the seat would not move.”

NHTSA complaint #11699312, filed 2025-11

“When I purchased this vehicle or financed it from the dealership I asked for the car fax and noticed there were two safety recalls and asked if they had been fixed and they gave me two computer pieces of plain white print out paperwork that only said serviced recall and that they did all their service paperwork like that now ! I was doubtful until I just checked your site and found 8 unrepaired recalls to my car.”

NHTSA complaint #11329224, filed 2020-06

“My backseat is stuck down due to my middle seatbelt being locked and I cannot get it to come back up. The seatbelt is way to tight that there is not way for me to pull it back up.”
