“prematurely changed engine oil on New vehicle at 2200 miles, break-in period. I refilled with recommended 5.7 quarts of oil. Removed from the ramp. Level ground dip stick check. Over full. I removed 1.5 quarts, and see metal in Brand new oil. I have video. 2 weeks later I random removed 0.75 quart to inspect the integrity. More metal flakes from engine. Ford did not debur engine components of this vehicle.”

NHTSA complaint #11674048, filed 2025-07

“On April 5th, 2025 I was driving about 20-30 mph and braking down a slight hill. When I went to accelerate up the other side of the hill the vehicle would not accelerate while pushing on the throttle. There were no check engine lights or errors while the vehicle would not accelerate. I pulled over to the side of the road and turned the vehicle off. Upon restarting the vehicle it appeared to function normally and continued driving for about an hour home. I have not reported the incident to Ford or the dealer.”

NHTSA complaint #11707290, filed 2025-12

“On 1/19/2025 I was driving on the freeway with with the cruise control on, going about 72mph. When out of nowhere my cruise control was automatically canceled, and I lost all power to my acceleration pedal. I would push down and would get no response from the engine. I had to slowly drift my car to the shoulder of the road to come to a stop. Luckily the power was still going to the brakes. I turned off my vehicle and turned it back on. After that the acceleration started working again. My vehicle only has 8600 miles.”
