“Can't fill the gas tank as it can't be pumped on pulling the gas nozzle all the way. I have to pull the nozzle one pull at a time to get gas in and gas splashing back on me and car. I have wasted a lot of gasoline doing this and a lot of time th get it to a 1/2 a tank if I'm lucky. There should be a recall or dealer fix.”

NHTSA complaint #10609944, filed 2014-07, 127 miles

“The engine on my 2007 Ford Mustang was revving high when I started the vehicle. When I put it into drive, the vehicle took off on me hitting another vehicle and crashing through a wall across from the spot I was parked in. This unintended acceleration has not happened prior to this incident but the vehicle only had 5,075 miles on it.”

“I own a 2007 Mustang and everytime I fuel up, it only allowed me to put 1/2 to 2/4 tank full and they is shuts off the gas pump. I have take the car to my local dealer and they told me they could not find anything wrong with it and to advised to try different gas stations. This is a continuing problem since I purchased the car new in dec of 2007.”

NHTSA complaint #10297387, filed 2009-12, 500 miles

“I purchased my 2007 Ford Mustang gt in august of 2007. It was a floor model that the dealer had done modifications to. On 24 jan 08 I went to fill top-off the fuel which was below 3/4 of tank. After only getting about 1.87 gallons in, the pump clicked off. I tried to pump more gas into the tank and was surprised when it started to overflow. …”

“I cannot pump a full tank of gas unless I stand there and pull the gas nozzle out every second!! It is driving me crazy! There has to be an issue with the fuel system and I have seen many complaints! Ford should fix and recall this issue!!”
