“Purchased the car brand new nov 2014. The 1st occurrence was around may or june of 2015 on a city street and I was slowing down while in 6th gear with the clutch pushed in and then I pulled the shifter into neutral. “Today I was driving my 2015 Ford Mustang when suddenly the car began to lose speed. The car was slowing down and wouldn't let me accelerate. Eventually while wanting to check if my car was okay I tried to make a left turn into a parking lot and the car engine shut off but the lights and everything were still on. I had to wait awhile and eventually I was able to turn the car back on and safely move into a walmart parking lot.”

NHTSA complaint #11141626, filed 2018-10, 56,000 miles

“Rodents have been chewing on the wiring under the hood. I feel this is due to the soybased wiring coating that is being used on newer vehicles. 1st incident. The AC wiring was effected. 2nd incident 2 weeks later engine wires were chewed up. This seems very similar to the current honda rodent issues that a class action lawsuit is currently filed for. The vehicle was parked under my carport over night. It is a daily driver used everyday.”

NHTSA complaint #10950092, filed 2017-02, 12,700 miles
