“The contact stated while driving 2 MPH in reverse, the vehicle nearly struck a pedestrian due to the seat backs of both the driver and passenger seats blocking out most of the visibility through the rear window. It is supposed to be covered under the new car warranty until august 2008 or 30,000 total miles. Problem: the passenger side seat back occasionally sticks in the full upright or reclined position when the seat back release lever is pulled up, (activated). It takes up to several minutes of jiggling the back and release lever to get the back to swing forward. Also the release lever has been found to stick in a position that won't allow the back to move. …”
