“The headlights are a huge safety issue, they are very dangerous at night. You can not see sides or in front of you . I hit a deer standing n the middle of the road, did not see it till it was right in front of me. My wife has a 2006 tahoe and her headlights are much better than the one in a 2014. Gmc needs to fix it before people start dying”

NHTSA complaint #10947275, filed 2017-01, 40,000 miles

“Clock and outside air temp readings are so small, you can't see them, without taking your eyes off the road, long enough to bend over close to the radio. This is as bad as someone using a cell phone to send and receive text. I have driven off the road twice, but have not crashed yet. My GM dealer says, the readings can not be made larger, and to be very careful.”

NHTSA complaint #10749057, filed 2015-08, 12 miles

“The headlights are not bright enough for night driving on country roads without street lights, on bright or dim mode. These are the worse headlights on any car I have ever owned, I personally have bought 4 brand new Gmc pickups, this is the worse. I never thought about test driving at night, I trusted them, wrong!”

NHTSA complaint #10872147, filed 2016-06, 55 miles

“Headlights are terrible. In a dark rural area, they are so dim they are dangerous. You can easily outdrive your headlights. In the dark and rain, you should stay home. It's sad I can't drive my $50,000 truck at night. Dealer's fix was worthless. So angry. I will never own another GM vehicle!”

NHTSA complaint #10885099, filed 2016-07, 100 miles

“Problem was present from the day I bought truck new. I live in a very rural area and the headlights are too dim to drive safely at night. Vehicle has been back to the dealer twice, once to replace bulbs and reprogram the bcm. Still not bright enough to feel safe driving at night. Second trip to the dealer they adjusted headlight up to high end of spec. Still not bright. I'm to the point of installing an after market hid kit.”
