“While I was on the way home from work, I waited for the broken yellow line to pass 2 cars in front of me, when I was midway through passing both of them, the second car in line wanted to pass the car in front as well but did not look to see that I was already passing and right beside him, and jerked over and hit the side of me which caused me then to spin out of control and land in a ravine. …”
NHTSA complaint #11339747, filed 2020-07, 8,000 miles“My vehicle is 3 months old. I noticed about a month ago one crease above the driver side passenger door, in the frame piece that is between the door and door. Typically this is where it creases in accidents for safety. A week or so later another one showed up and how there are 3 and I see a 4th starting. There are no marks just the crease. They seem to be in a line all along the driver side piece above the doors. It is as if the frame of vehicle's body is folding in. Again, as if it was creasing for the safety in an accident. I am not sure what to do and how long I wait for this. …”
NHTSA complaint #11306495, filed 2020-02, 3,000 miles“On june 15,2020 I washed my car and discovered that the paint on the hood was peeling off. I then took the car to the dealer and they took a picture and sent to Honda corporate. I also faxed my complaint letter to the Honda customer service on 6/18/2020. 6/22/2020 customer service called back and concluded that the peeling paint is not manufacturing defect. Honda refused to provide any written explanation as to why they denied fixing the paint issue when asked for one. A year-old cat's paint should not be peeling off this easily. I own 2 other older Honda vehicles and have had no paint issues. …”
NHTSA complaint #11330435, filed 2020-06, 4,230 miles“Clear coat is peeling off of the right (passenger) front fender. Clear coat is peeling off of the right (passenger) side front bumper cover. Clear coat is peeling/bubbling off the trunk in two different locations. First noticed at ~ 700 miles. Bought vehicle brand new from wetzel Honda in richmond indiana with 44 miles on the vehicle at delivery.”
NHTSA complaint #11245621, filed 2019-08, 700 miles“Back windshield leaked. A third of the seal was not installed and water leaked into roof liner in car. Leaked from rain and car wash. Suspension clunks and makes noise like an old car. Vehicle in shop almost 30 days 1st year, at least 18 consecutive. Dealer recommended vehicle be bought back due to issues but Honda regional mechanic came in and said tha'ts just how they ride. Car still rides like an old truck over bumps. No satisfaction as far as I'm concerned.”
