“I was driving on the interstate heading to work and suddenly heard an intense loud pop like a gunshot. My sunroof shattered right on top of me and all over the inside of my car. Thankfully I was able to safely pull off to the shoulder but it could've caused a serious incident.”

NHTSA complaint #11735951, filed 2026-05

“While driving on the Florida Turnpike Friday 05/15/2026, sunroof spontaniously shattered. It was a clear day and no cars around me. I have paid to get it fixed but I believe this is a saftey issue and should be recalled and money spent reimbursed..”

NHTSA complaint #11738518, filed 2026-05

“When it is raining I cannot see using the backup camera. Rain drops on the camera lens make it so that I can only see light, i.e. the drops of rain obscure everything. Basically it is like not having a backup camera at all.”

NHTSA complaint #11710312, filed 2026-01

“In May 2025, I received an error message upon vehicle start up which states “Software update is not available. Please see your dealer.” This error has continued to appear each time the vehicle is started. When I took it to my dealer in May 2025, they told me that there was nothing they could do and that Honda had to put out an over the air software update to fix the issue. I have asked about this during subsequent dealer visits and each time they say the same thing. The issue has not been fixed nearly 14 months now.”

NHTSA complaint #11750551, filed 2026-07

“Apple CarPlay frequently fails to function properly. While driving, the infotainment screen suddenly goes completely black and becomes unresponsive. The system does not recover until I stop the vehicle, turn off the engine, and restart the car. In addition, when starting the vehicle, CarPlay often does not initialize. I sometimes have to turn the vehicle off and restart it 10–20 times before CarPlay activates. This issue happens very frequently. If I use the vehicle 3–4 times in a single day, the problem occurs at least 2 times. …”
