“2014 Honda Accord will not start. I press the brake but it's hard to press down. Push start will not go in to start the car. The car has a brand new battery and the computer system was reset. This is the second time I'm experiencing this with my car. The car does nothing no sound. Everything just lock up.”
NHTSA complaint #11326389, filed 2020-05, 98,000 miles“The car will not start from the first push of starting button while the brake pedal is depressed. It takes at least 3 times to start the cart. I changed the battery and battery for keys. I went to the dealership and they the problem of not starting from first time still happened.”
NHTSA complaint #11195402, filed 2019-04, 79,000 miles“I recently came upon an article about 2014 Honda's that would over heat and you would lose power causing the vehicle to stall. This happened to my vehicle about a week ago I was driving on the highway at low speed in traffic and my vehicle began to stall before it stalled out I pressed the gas and it returned to normal RPM. It happened again one more time about two minutes later and hasn't happened since.”
NHTSA complaint #11115781, filed 2018-08, 51,000 miles“My 2014 Honda Accord coupe ex-l v6 has 58.000 miles. I recently had my starter replaced and torque converter adjusted. I was informed that this is a issue Honda is aware of and has created a bulletin (16-002). This appears to be a common issue, and why wouldn't there be a recall issued. It's clear this is a manufacturing and equipment issue in Accord v6 2013-2016 and crosstour v6 2013-15. Why is the repair at the consumers cost instead of Honda?”
NHTSA complaint #11350353, filed 2020-08, 57,000 miles“When vehicle is parked on a slight hill at 20 degree and up , the trunk is unable to stay open for me to load things in .. It has fell on my forehead multiple times hurting me.. I always have to hold up the trunk with one arm while loading things into the trunk. I've been to Honda dealers and they keep telling me its the way it is.”
