“Driving the vehicle at highway speeds the large orange “Brake” warning illuminates and flashes, and the brake activates. This has happened approximately 5-6 times since I have owned the car. This started within 2 months of purchasing the vehicle. The dealer has tried replacing the front camera and I have changed the battery. None of this has fixed the issue. …”
NHTSA complaint #11666664, filed 2025-06“Securty system, I have had my car broken into multiple times had the fobs replaced and the car keeps getting broken into. I bought a fob cover as well. I have taken it to multiple dealers regarding issue just have me do a fob reset. For over a year this has been happening even filed a claim with Attorney Generals office. Contacted Honda as well they offered nothing and did nothing.”
NHTSA complaint #11669666, filed 2025-06“Just purchased vehicle, drove from Bossier to my residence turning in trunk pops open by itself? Closed didnt think nothing of it thought maybe i accidentally hit the button? But wife experienced the same thing trunk popped open by itself, major safety hazard”
NHTSA complaint #11688024, filed 2025-09“It is my understanding Honda issued a extended warranty on the air conditioning condenser for its Accord models from 2018-2022. I have a 2023 Accord and the exact same issue has happened on my car. Similar to the earlier problems with fuel pumps where a partial recall was extended to the same model built in later years, I am suggesting Honda needs to repeat the extended warranty to include 2023 models. I am bringing this issue to your attention in case others are having the same experience.”
NHTSA complaint #11718663, filed 2026-02“Summary of Incident: For approximately two years, my vehicle has experienced random electrical issues. All dashboard warning lights will flash at random times. When I take the vehicle to the dealership (Bell Honda), the problem disappears before it can be diagnosed. On September 27, 2025, and again on September 28, 2025, the vehicle completely stopped and shut off while I was driving. It would not restart. The hazard lights were stuck on and could not be turned off. This left me stranded and in a dangerous situation. …”
