“Takata recall my car was taken in for the airbag recall for replacement. When I was called to come and get my car I asked if the driver and passenger side airbag had been replaced and was told yes. Upon arrival at the Honda dealership service department I was told they had made a mistake, only the driver's side airbag had been replaced. Needless to say I was very upset, asked to speak to someone and was given the number for the main american Honda office. …”

“Takata recall I am a concerned parent of two teenagers that are driving cars effected by the airbag recall. I received a letter for my sons ford mustang in september 2015, and for my daughters 2009 Honda CR-V march 2016. I have contacted the manufacturer ford and Honda, and have not been given any information about when parts will be available. I feel that there is a lack of information being provided by the manufacturer, as well as specific information being provided by the NHTSA. …”

“My wife drove a Honda crv 2009 which we purchased last year and had a front collision with a tree on 2/19/1010. The front of the car was seriously damaged and my wife was sent to er with reported head injury. But the airbag never came out. We believe this is a defect which should be accountable for the injury.”

NHTSA complaint #10312413, filed 2010-02, 5,000 miles

“Just spent 3 and 1/2 months in a rent a car and the night before I pick it up I get a second recall for the passanger air bag. Now Honda just wants me not to put someone in the passanger seat but I am not comfortable doing that I still feel like if the bag goes off it could cause the driver and possible back seat person injury. And I have to do this for at least another month they refuse to give me another rental. I really am upset about this I still feel like someone could easily get hurt.”

NHTSA complaint #10892304, filed 2016-08, 44,600 miles

“Hit a car with the front drivers side. Impact caused my head to hit the steering wheel for which I had to go to the hospital and a cat scan was performed. After the initial front impact, another car crashed into my rear, again no airbags deployed.”
