2024 Honda HR-V Transmission and drivetrain Problems

“As of 11/22/2024, Odometer reading little over 4k miles. Bought it brand new from Honda dealership in Pennsylvania. Issue: Right before coming to a complete stop i.e while down shifting 20mph to 6 - 8 miles per hour, I am feeling a sudden jolt while breaks applied. It is unknown to me weather this is a engine or transmission issue but this same issue many Honda HR-V owners have noticed and reported on social media. This issue is causing improper front side movement of the vehicle and causing improper break application when attempting to stop the car. …”

“My hrv has a twitching like feeling in the steering and steering sticks going around curves on the freeway. Sometimes when just driving straight I can feel the steering wheel jerking to the right. Fuel gauge is totally off. I can get to around 70miles of range left fuel light comes on and I drive about 2-3 miles and that 70 miles of Range will drop to 26 miles of range. I fill up around 12miles of Range left and it only take around 10.5 gallons to fill it up which the tank is suppose to hold 14gallons of gas. Cvt transmission is very jerky. …”
