“We have 2020 Honda Odyssey with 4500 miles and multi purpose camera quit working and Honda service center ran a scan and confirmed malfunction of camera and replacement costed over $1600. Internet tells me that many other similar vehicle have similar issue. It should be a recall and fixed free.”

NHTSA complaint #11656501, filed 2025-04

“We bought a used 2020 Honda Odyssey, and a few months after buying this vehicle, the infotainment screen blanked out and the vehicle information screen also blinked out. This occurred at the same time with no warning whatsoever. I just turned on the car, and none of the screens came on. These screens are the ones that show the mph, our mileage, cruise control, etc, and also the screen that shows the back up camera, in car calling, back up alert system. None of that works anymore. …”

NHTSA complaint #11581985, filed 2024-04

“Front windshield camera, controls adaptive cruise control, lane keep assist, lane departure mitigation, front collision mitigation, auto high beam, all the lights came on and all the features stopped working. We were 1500 miles from home when this happened had it repaired at a dealership $1300. I called Honda corporate and after 2 days a customer service representative called me back. He told me the vehicle was 2500 miles out of warranty and it's a car and cars are going to break down. …”

NHTSA complaint #11535691, filed 2023-08

“I went to park at a curb, and when I went to stop the van jumped over the curb and almost into a building. I had to almost push the brakes into the floorboard. It was like the car accelerated on its own. I was lucky there was only a flower bed it went through and nobody was on the sidewalk. I have called multiple Honda dealerships and they said there was no recall or any problems with the acceleration. No warnings went off, this was at 7 am when this happened.”

NHTSA complaint #11428918, filed 2021-08

“On several occasions our honda van has slammed on the brakes without any vehicle or obstacle present. The automatic braking system has worked properly when someone ahead brakes aggressively ... but the instances i'm talking about have occur without vehicles in our lane. 1 time it was coming around a turn and i almost lost control of the steering since i wasn't expecting a hard brake. I haven't gotten it inspected or looked at. the safety feature seems to work properly but then will sense something that isn't there.”
