“I plugged the car into our Juicebox charger and waited for the car to say “charging scheduled” before I walked away. My husband didn’t realize I plugged in and managed to back out of the garage, ripping the charger from the car. We need to buy a new charger now. We understand the car should never move if the charger is connected.”
NHTSA complaint #11703104, filed 2025-12“I was traveling on the freeway when I got a warning saying “check electrical.”i started to pull over on the freeway and my car went into “turtle mode “and I made it off the offramp but almost got rear ended. I was half a mile from home so I limp home in a tow truck towed off. It was determined it is the ICCU.”
NHTSA complaint #11719583, filed 2026-02“Hi! My vehicle went under a recall repair last month. Once completed, the acceleration significantly decreased in the ECO drive train mode. The other modes are working as before. I have been advised that this recall service was required by the NTSB. There are reports of this occurring on credible websites as well. I did report it to Hyundai, they didn't believe me. So, I am reporting this to you. Please fix my car!”
NHTSA complaint #11514327, filed 2023-03“This has happened twice so far. I was driving down the street on the main road and the check evs error came on with a yellow triangle ⚠️ light came on. Suddenly the car slowed down, it was hard to steer but I was able to get it to a neighborhood near the school before it shut down. It scare me to know what would have happened if that was on a freeway. Now, because of the fear I hardly drive the car. The last time this happened was yesterday.”
NHTSA complaint #11591280, filed 2024-05“We just purchased this vehicle and I found this issue. We have not had any accident. This is just an professional OBSERVATION about a potential issue. The rear carpet mat has a slick and very smooth rubber underside. This factory carpet liner sits on top of the factory carpet. With the rear fold down seats in the upright position, there is no problem but the liner does slide easily around as there is no way to attach it to the regular carpet. …”
