“Windshield cracked with no provocation. Car was parked on driveway when we noticed at least a 6 inch long crack. Car parked in garage overnight and the crack is now about 18 inches. We have about 1500 miles on this car went to Hyundai and they could care less. I have read that others have had this issue also. Not sure if the windshield was put in correctly.”
NHTSA complaint #11600166, filed 2024-07“Possible ABS malfunctioningg/ sensitivity. This is the 3rd incident that occurred and I had this vehicle for less than a month. ABS kicks in while slowing down to stop at a stop sign; the car/ steering wheel shakes vigorously. It disengage my brakes causing the vehicle to take a longer distance to stop. This is concerning as half of the vehicle was in the middle of a busy street and my family safety is at risk.”
NHTSA complaint #11603652, filed 2024-07“My vehicle hyuandai pallasade 2024 was stopped behind a white car. My vehicle was struck from behind. The vehicle was a large truck that hit at approximately 55-60 mph per highway patrol. This pushed my Hyundai into the white car in front of me and flipping my vehicle front down into a ditch with rear tires suspended in the air. The airbags did not deploy, the entire third row collapsed up to the second row. My vehicle sustained front, rear and side impact with no airbag deployment.”
NHTSA complaint #11734571, filed 2026-04“Was simply driving at approximately 40 mph and heard a loud bang come from the area above my head. Noticed a wind noise at that point. Upon getting home it was noticed that the glass on the sunroof had shattered on its own. Nothing hit it. It simply just shattered. I've read about people with a similar issue with this vehicle and I'm concerned. Had the visor that covers the inside of the sunroof been open, glass would have hit me and my children passengers.”
NHTSA complaint #11629798, filed 2024-12“I was driving on the freeway and my sun roof suddenly just exploded. It was like a bomb went off in my car. My safety was at risk due to the glass. I have reported it to my insurance company to be replaced.”
