“Steering; scary to drive on hwy. Manual transmission feels like it grinds clutch related I thought that was normal cause it was brand new and not broken in. Not so problem still there. Back up camera doesn't always engage I wonder if the manual shifting has any flaws. Too much crap for such a high price. When can I return. Lmk.”

NHTSA complaint #11320767, filed 2020-04, 26 miles

“Since purchase this vehicle has had loose and unresponsive steering. It currently has 1600 miles and has been in the shop multiple times. I am told the steering gear needs to be replaced under a campaign however there is no decal as of yet. Jeep does not have the required parts in stock and I am being told it may be months until a repair is available for my vehicle. I also have a problem with the u connect system crashing which also controls most of the interior of the vehicle and renders most of those items like the HVAC inoperable until the system is reset. …”

“The instrument cluster failed resulting in the batteries being drained. This resulted in the vehicle being unable to operate, start and inability to shift. This cause me to be stuck in the middle of traffic.”

NHTSA complaint #11636045, filed 2025-01, 69,013 miles

“Odometer Fraud. The contact purchased a 2020 Jeep Gladiator. The contact discovered a mileage discrepancy after the purchase. The check engine light was illuminated. While detailing and deep cleaning the vehicle, the contact located a letter with the mileage. The contact sent an email and called the local dealer, but the dealer failed to respond. The vehicle was a dealer sale. At the time of purchase, the vehicle mileage was 50,000. It was later discovered that the mileage on the Title was 300,000.”

NHTSA complaint #11685064, filed 2025-09, 300,000 miles

“The vehicle radio will experience a very loud popping sound through the base radio speakers as it appears to short out while at start up or driving. This is very startling and distracting to the driver and may result in an accident. The radio also loses time often, the vehicle has been to the dealership at least 13 times for this. Jeep cares advised me to get TSB ( technician service bulletin) # 08-015-21. This update was suppose to fix everything this was not the case. When at start up the radio went to a black screen and locked up for nearly a week. …”
