“The contact owns a 2021 Jeep Grand Cherokee L. The contact stated that while attempting to latch the front driver’s side seat belt, the seat belt buckle pretensioner failed to remain latched. The vehicle was taken to a local dealer, where it was diagnosed as needing a seat clasp replacement; however, parts were not yet available. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 61,000.”
