“On 11 October 2025, I was driving on the Interstate when an error message appeared in the cluster Active Lane Management (ALM) Unavailable Service Required . The Lane Assistance turned OFF and could not be turned back ON until vehicle was restarted. I called the dealership and requested an appointment. They stated that unless they could repeat the issue, an appointment would be useless. The ALM error message disappeared on restart of the vehicle. …”

NHTSA complaint #11742357, filed 2026-06

“the issues I'm experiencing are a rubbing sound when breaking and turing the wheel. THE CAR TURNED ON AND COULD NOT BE TURNED OFF. nothing worked or responded no matter what you pushed. The brake sensor and lane assist diagnostic fault codes (error codes)popped up which they couldn't find a bulletin or error code to replicate the issue. The vehicle would not read the key fob, it would say the fob had left the vehicle because the door opened, or if i move the key while in the vehicle( bulletin for this issue). …”

NHTSA complaint #11638249, filed 2025-01

“I have been having this error message appear intermittently in the car upon starting the vehicle since I purchased the vehicle in August 2024. See attached photo. The message appears seconds after starting up and will go away. Lane keep assist will turn off but I can turn it back on. Additionally, I have had a similar occurrence in multiple occasions while driving where these systems will turn off and present an orange light on the dashboard. I’m not able to turn the systems back on when this happens. It will reset itself after turning the car on and then off. …”

NHTSA complaint #11690153, filed 2025-09

“FCA pushed an involuntary software update to our car on August 6, 2024. It completed about 75% of the update and froze, rendering our display and systems unusable. Our back-up camera only works intermittently as does many of the ADAs safety features. We have no temperature controls or radio either. We have been to the dealer multiple times and they are being told by FCA that the entire unit needs to be replaced. A search of social media (reddit) shows that others may be having the same safety issue. The dealer says they have had four more incidents come into their shop.”

NHTSA complaint #11611233, filed 2024-08

“The contact leased a 2024 Jeep Grand Cherokee. The contact stated that while driving at various speeds, the Lane Departure and cruise control mode unexpectedly deactivated. The vehicle was taken to the dealer, where the infotainment system was reset, and the vehicle was temporarily operated as needed. The failure recurred intermittently while driving, requiring the driver to pull over to the side of the road to reset the infotainment system. …”
