“When slowing down to park vehicle, there was a sudden surge forward on 3 separate occasions. The first in June 2025 caused me to go over a mound of dirt and into wooded area before stopping. This cost my insurance $7200. to fix. Then again it happened with my husband driving. Again, on 8-27-25. Both times we were able to slam on brakes to prevent hitting another vehicle or person.”

NHTSA complaint #11683638, filed 2025-08

“While driving a message pops up that says push brake and shift to park and the it shuts down while driving which is a major safety concern. It did it to me twice and could have lead to a significant accident if someone was behind me and if I was on the highway.”

NHTSA complaint #11670102, filed 2025-06

“I had just got in and started my Jeep and noticed the ABS light and Brake light was on, so I went straight to the dealer and the abs had an internal failure and has to be replaced.”

NHTSA complaint #11715149, filed 2026-02

“The vehicle has now experienced two complete electronic system failures while driving at approximately 45 miles per hour. During both events, all dashboard warning lights illuminated, and I lost power steering and brake assist. The engine remained running during the failure, but vehicle control systems were disabled. The first repair was documented as a disconnected electrical component, but the same full failure has occurred again. I consider this a serious safety defect, and I do not feel safe operating the vehicle”

NHTSA complaint #11721365, filed 2026-03

“On several occasions, FCW activated unexpectedly in low risk situations (in driveway, pulling into neighborhood) May 2024 & Nov 2024. While driving 60MHP on a 4 lane highway during rush hour on May 19, FCW activated unexpectedly; immediately taking me down to 20MHP. The “BRAKE” warning and beeping remained with the brakes activated for 30-60 seconds. I was unable to accelerate. Vehicles behind me had to swerve to avoid impact. As I was pulling off the highway immediately following, FCW activated again and I was nearly rear-ended. …”
