“Parking my 2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee laredo in a parking lot. My foot was on the break and I was getting ready to shift Jeep into park when the Jeep suddenly accelerated forward hitting a building. Took Jeep to dealership and they have been trying recreate this. I have opened a ticket chrysler/fiat and waiting for them to contact me. I am afraid to drive the Jeep now.”

“The vehicle becomes very unstable (eg, it wobbles ) when I step lightly on the break at speeds of 60 MPH and above. Also, this vehicle has a high risk of rolling over ( I lightly moved the steering wheel to avoid collision with a reckless driver that almost hits my car sideways on the highway, and the car lost control nearly rolling over. The vehicle was in motioned on florida's turnpike.”

NHTSA complaint #11193812, filed 2019-04, 3,200 miles

“While using the acc function and setting forward distance at any length the problem is that when the car in front of you slows, stops,,or turns my vehicle will brake on its own. However, while braking during the mentioned operation the big problem is that the brake lights do not illuminate. I have had several close calls with someone nearly running into the back of my vehicle during the use of the adaptive cruise control (acc). This can be extremely dangerous if you are now fully aware of this problem. This should have been addressed during the acc hazardous examination phase. …”
