“I was driving 35 MPH straight on a city road when the orange engine light came on. I went to nearest auto store and had it scanned and it came out with code p0441. Incorrect purge flow.”

NHTSA complaint #11288918, filed 2019-12, 72,500 miles

“The evap container isnt the right part and obviously was actually for a Jeep wrangler and has an extra inlet. After numerous attempts to contact Jeep for the last 4 months and still nothing this vehicle will stall while driving and it drives alot of interstate travel which is a huge safety risk and still have gotten nowhere all I want is for Jeep to make this right and fix the manufacturer mess up.”

NHTSA complaint #11306598, filed 2020-02, 135,215 miles

“The vehicles doors lock and unlock while the car is in motion. The lights have gone out while moving down the road. The wipers will intermittently go on and off . The lights on the dash and radio will dim while driving. The car shifts multiple times while moving.”

NHTSA complaint #11337365, filed 2020-07, 88,000 miles

“Vehicle has a eco-mode to reserve excessive fuel usage. When traveling at a speed to exceed 45 MPH the vehicle reacts with a bad vibration and shake as if there is a flat tire or something. When coming to a complete stop the vehicle shakes as if there is a defect with the rotors or brakes. When taking off, there is a kick when attempting to first accelerate especially at a traffic stop/intersection. Vehicle has been serviced at the sport durst chrysler Jeep in durham nc and it has been declared as drone mode which is unknown cause of issue- unrepairable. …”

NHTSA complaint #10450605, filed 2012-03, 115 miles

“Fuel was spilling out underneath vehicle every time I filled up. The issue was that the plastic housing where the fuel filler tube connects to the gas tank hardened and deteriorated to a point where it begins to leak. That plastic appears not to be ethanol resistant. Indications a leak will or is occurring: P0456 code or fuel dripping down under vehicle or smell of fuel.”
