“Abs, traction control and esp lights all went on and stayed on. I do not believe that any of these systems was working, as the vehicle spun out at under 40 miles per hour on damp pavement the day after lights went on. Took vehicle to dealership, and was told it was a wiring problem. Charge was more than $300.00. Told I had to pay because I had more than $36,000 miles on vehicle.”

I was driving down the road and the horn started honking, wipers went off and windshield fluid started spraying every where. It has done it several times. It has also done this just when opening the doors and no keys in the ignition. It blinks through the gears on the transmission and has locked up the traction control. I have had it in to the dealership several times and it is just now possibly diagnosed with tipm. …”
NHTSA complaint #10542313, filed 2013-09, 97,000 miles“Uncontrolled reverse rolling / brake failure: 2007 Jeep wrangler rubicon unlimited 4 door model. While I'm sure that no one will want to hear of a vehicle taken off-road, the rubicon is marketed & designed to do just such activities and does them extremely well. I have owned at least 12 Jeep vehicles and this one is absolutely amazing for it's capabilities. I love it & can't say enough positive. …”
NHTSA complaint #10201754, filed 2007-09, 875 miles“I bought a used 2007 Jeep wrangler 4-door sahara in march of 2012. About 30 days after the purchase (which is when dealer warranty expired) the vehicle's brakes starting squeaking. I took it to the dealership and they said it was because the brakes were dirty. They cleaned the brakes and sent me on my way. The next day the brakes started squeaking again every time I brake. I took it back and they said there was nothing they could do because the brakes were brand new. At this time, the front passenger door also stopped locking correctly. …”
