“A common number 4 cylinder misfire that seems to common on all Jeep forums. The code was found to be a no compression in the cylinder. Although so many people complain of this issue, Jeep doesn't do anything about this? My engine is 4 years old and I'm being told I need a new engine and it's no longer under warranty.”

NHTSA complaint #11205845, filed 2019-05, 49,000 miles

“Upon my first start of the day (cold start) my Jeep starts no issue at all both remote start and standard ignition. When I put my Jeep into reverse, the RPM's drop and the Jeep shutters and then stalls. Sometimes it does a hard shutter low idle and can stay alive but usually stalls. Dealer says they can't find the issue but I have found several forums that say it's the torque converter. Please help.”

“There is already a recall on the driver side air bag posted on 1/9/2019 which my dealership has not yet fixed as of 1/24/19. There is another issue with a cold start put into reverse and thus when done it is stalling. No codes ... No waring lights. My 2016 has been doing this now for almost 6 months.”
