Selected from NHTSA records; personal details are removed. They are consumer reports, not findings.

“While driving I suddenly lost power and the vehicle came to an abrupt and suddenly stopped. The check engine light came on after it abruptly stopped. Jeep is now aware of this issue happening to multiple cars and has not made any attempts to notify us that our vehicle is not safe to drive.”

NHTSA complaint #11693027, filed 2025-10

“For the 4th time the motor seems to die while driving down the road with no warning. Charging warnings pop up and the car does not start. Has been to dealership multiple times and never gets fixed. Chrysler told to me sue them. I don’t have the money to sue them and the cars is in drivable. Been in the dealership many times with me being left without a car for months. They won’t take it back and I still have 6 months of payments.”

NHTSA complaint #11773298, filed 2026-10

“I am reporting a recurring loss/reduction of expected electric propulsion in my 2025 Jeep Wrangler Willys 4xe after FCA Safety Recall 68C / NHTSA 25V-741 was completed. Before 68C, I routinely drove my normal route, including sustained uphill/high-load portions, in Electric mode for the full trip to/from & expending the full battery capacity. After the recall software update, electric propulsion frequently is sluggish with no acceleration. …”

NHTSA complaint #11770231, filed 2026-10

“Oct 10, 2025, I received an OTA update on my Jeep Wrangler. After the installation, I left my child's school on the way to dinner. Maybe a half mile into the drive, I received numerous warnings on the display screen and quickly after that, the vehicle lost all power. Hybrid system unavailable as well as the gas motor. Power steering, brakes and stability control also gone. Was able to get to the side of the road but it nearly stranded me on an elevated 2 lane road over a dam near Cherry Creek Reservoir in Greenwood Village, CO. …”

NHTSA complaint #11694525, filed 2025-10

“The referenced vehicle jerks/jolts while driving. It was doing this when test driven on 7/31/25 and I was told by the salesman that this was normal even though he did not ask any questions about the jerking. On 8/1/25 I picked the vehicle up (leased). Because it had a cracked windshield, I again asked about the jerking and if it had any issues at all, and, again, I was told it was fine and nothing was wrong with it. The Jeep dealer serviced the vehicle x5 between 8/5-9/26/25 and was last in their service department from 9/3-9/26/25. …”
