NHTSA complaint #11243728, filed 2019-08, 155,673 miles“On 3/19/19 I was driving doing about 37 miles as I stop at a red light and then made a left turn . Upon making that turn I heard a loud pop into my left ear and a burning sensation on my left arm and the back of my shoulder . I became dizzy and blurred vision I held my composure and pulled into the nearest gas station I struggled to get the door open I noticed all airbags exploded except the two front passenger and driver bags . I received burns and bruising on my my left arm neck and the side of my face . There was never an accident or damaging impact done to the vehicle for this to happen.”

Took the vehicle to a Nissan dealer to have it checked. Initially they told me nothing was wrong with the airbag so they reset the light and charged a $75.00 diagnostic fee. But as soon as the technician returned with the vehicle the light came back on again. He took it back to the repair area and after 2 hours he came back and said the airbag computer is malfunctioning and is not able to recognize the vehicle. …”

NHTSA complaint #11044522, filed 2017-11, 112,618 miles“Upon starting the vehicle it was noticed the airbag light was flashing on the console. On 12/8/2010 contacted Nissan dealership, wright automotive - wexford, pa, and service agent advised the earliest they could see the vehicle was12/13/2010 and that the airbag would not deploy while the airbag light was flashing. Upon taking vehicle to dealership service agent advised he has not seen this issue in the 2 years he's been at the dealership and advised there is no recall or known TSB. Service order indicated a code of b1054 which means 'drivers side air bag open'. …”
