“Takata recall I am not sure why my VIN is not recall as yet. The car accelerates on occasion. I replave all coils now every 2 months because thats how long they are lasting Nissan weston florida has not been able to figure out why the car keeps burning coils out. This feels so dangerous to me on the hoghway I do not know if it is the transmission or computer its very scary”
NHTSA complaint #11154855, filed 2018-11, 100,000 miles“Service engine soon came up, so I went to my mechanic & told me that code po463 came up & fuel pump sending unit needs to be replaced & that cost around $800. I check online & notice that a lot of people are having the same problem. So I think Nissan needs to do a recall & take care of this issue....thank you in advance.”
NHTSA complaint #10451885, filed 2012-03, 96,000 miles“Faulty fuel gauge, fuel float or fuel monitoring system. I filled up the car and the gauge reads empty. It will erratically show different fuel levels ranging anywhere from empty to half-full to full. This is a safety issue because it is impossible to know how much fuel is left. After doing a brief internet search I discovered that their are multiple entries for this issue from other Nissan owners.”
NHTSA complaint #10535443, filed 2013-08, 59,000 miles“Fuel gauge started to failed and check engine light turned on. Failed the state inspection due to emissions. I took the vehicle to the dealer and quoted for replace the two failing fuel sending units $99 to inspect + $700 part & labor. Of course is not covered by Nissan. How many other brands beside Nissan have you seen with this problem? I am simply appalled by the lack of concern from Nissan. …”
NHTSA complaint #10450100, filed 2012-03, 58,000 miles“Seat support is broken on the drivers side causing the driver my son, to shift to the left while driving the car. A dealer sold this used car as is and covered a wooden block that supported the seat with cloth to disguise the problem. After looking at this site I found over 700 complaints. The seat is compromised and it's a manufacturers safety defect. If an accident were to occur the driver could be thrown into the dash or worst because of a already broken driver seat support. Why should consumers not be made aware of this safety concern and the manufacture required to do a proper fix? …”
