“Traveling at 35 MPH approaching intersection where light had turned red. Began decelerating as I approached the stopped traffic. Getting closer, to the stopped traffic, I began to brake. I felt a catch on the brake pedal, and then it failed and went all the way to the floor. I tried braking four or five times again, but the brake went to the floor and I watched as if in slow motion as I knew I would be hitting a large auto transport truck in front of me. …”

“On a very foggy morning, was doing about 45 m.p.h.,realized I was coming up on a stop sign in my 2006 Murano. I stepped on the brakes, like usual and nothing happened. I slammed on the brakes, after normal pressure didn't work. My car failed to stop after I pushed the brake pedal as hard and fast as I could. I slid I think the brakes locked. I skidded through a stop sign, resulting in being hit by another car. My car was totaled. The other driver's car was most likely destroyed, also. Maybe, I imagined it, but it felt like my car sped up, in addition to the brakes failing. …”
