“This is continuously happening, if I need to hit my brakes quickly, my break pedal become soft and I need to push the pedal all the way to the floor. This has now occurred in many instances and I drive with two toddlers in my car. I've had the dealer take a look at my breaks with a whole break rehaul, this is still occurring.”

NHTSA complaint #11317817, filed 2020-03, 1 miles

“Driving the other day, I had to make a fast stop and my brake petal went all the way to the floor. I barely missed hitting the vehicle in front of me. I swerved to the left and fortunately there was not a vehicle in the left lane. The brakes continued to go all the way to the floor for 24 hours. When I took it to my mechanic they returned to normal and they could not find anything wrong.”

NHTSA complaint #11123983, filed 2018-09, 145,000 miles

“Brakes going all the way to the floor ABS light coming on and vehicle would not stop. Almost involved in huge accident! 2009 being recalled but Nissan has denied offering us help because states no open recalls on 2010 same exact problem as 09's our mechanic will not touch because states it is a defect with muranos and does not want to be held liable in case someone is killed in my vehicle as I drive my children daily”

NHTSA complaint #11157191, filed 2018-12, 175,000 miles

“I was pulling in to my parking space at work (in motion) when I pressed the brake, but it went to the floor and the vehicle did not stop. I tried the brake again, same thing. I was able to maneuver away from poles and other cars, so nothing was damaged. I had it towed to an auto repair shop where they found the brakes were fine. Fluke? No. Thousands of similar issues have been reported, but nothing's being done. This happened with a 2010 Nissan Murano.”

NHTSA complaint #11194139, filed 2019-04, 55,000 miles

“The brake system failed back in august causing a total loss of my vehicle I sprained my neck nobody wants to know about what this single vetran has to say I was pulling into a gas station and the brakes failed and it was out of gas.”

NHTSA complaint #11156756, filed 2018-12, 116,000 miles
