Selected from NHTSA records; personal details are removed. They are consumer reports, not findings.

“My truck continues to light up saying that the fuel cap is loose. I believe that there was a former recall about a crack and engine coolant gas getting into the system, and this was never fixed properly. Also, the airbag light continues to come on, and there was a former recall about that and it was never fixed. These are all while stationary.”

NHTSA complaint #11387365, filed 2021-01, 75,000 miles

“Error code p0463: fuel level sensor circuit high input, this means my fuel gauge is experiencing failures and I can not accurately determine how much fuel is in the vehicle. Doing a quick google search, this appears to be a very common issue with the 2014 Ram 1500 5.7l. I'm at roughly 68500 mile on my truck so the issue is also out of warranty.”

NHTSA complaint #11301039, filed 2020-01, 68,500 miles

“Fuel pump sensor is no longer working. Truck has 95k miles on it and hasn't been working for the past 500 miles or so. Check engine light has come on and also my fuel gauge comes on and off constantly. I was driving home from grocery store and check engine light came on. Checked at local auto store and said I had a fuel pump that had gone bad.”

NHTSA complaint #11326081, filed 2020-05, 95,000 miles

“Last year they did an emissions update on my truck. Since then there is terrible accelerator pedal lag. I already had a dozen or more close calls when trying to pull into traffic. It takes literally 2-3 seconds after I press the accelerator for the truck to start moving. It makes driving the truck dangerous in high traffic areas.”

NHTSA complaint #11319915, filed 2020-04, 98,000 miles

“Fuel sensor failure at 45,000 miles. Same complaint as so many others. Full tank will display as full on gauge. After only 20-30 miles the gauge drops to empty and I have no idea how much fuel is in the tank until I'm stranded on the side of the road. Must watch odometer and hope I make it to fill the tank without any mistakes.”
