“On 11/20/20 my Ram truck was hit on the right front corner and totaled. We were at a stop light and just started to complete a left hand turn on a city street when the other driver ran a red light, he was issued a citation for running a red light, and was probably speeding. We were in a 35mph zone. The air bags failed to deploy. I contacted chrysler and this is part of their conclusion. The conclusion of the investigation is that the rate of deceleration necessary to activate the air bag system was not present during this accident. …”

NHTSA complaint #11384941, filed 2020-12, 13,000 miles

“Passenger side tie rod inner end outer separated and upon inspection threads had rusted and they pulled apart in a simple left turn. Luckily it as at low speed, but had just gotten off the interstate at 70 MPH. This could have been a catastrophic accident had it happened on the interstate. Dealership and tow truck driver said they had never seen this on a 2019 vehicle with less than 100,000 miles.”

NHTSA complaint #11405297, filed 2021-03, 98,500 miles

“The car is off and the radio turns on by itself. While the car is in motion the airconditioner works occasionally (not very often) and when the AC goes out the power windows go out as well. The warning sensors on side do not work either.”

NHTSA complaint #11416240, filed 2021-05, 22,000 miles

“My truck was parked in my driveway for several weeks while away from home, I arrived the water pulling into my floor board and the front driver side and running down the top of my headliner into the back seat, also my belongings and leather seats along with the majority of the interior was covered in mold and mildew leaving a foul odor and it stains. …”

NHTSA complaint #11588280, filed 2024-05

“The component lights came on advising they cannot be used along with a check engine light. I took it to the dealership, which I have the Mopar lifetime warranty. They hooked it up to the computer and charged 800 dollars for a software update and said it is not covered under warranty unless its a safety issue. All of these systems are safety items installed in the vehicle which I rely upon. It is a safety issue when not in use because of a software update that one must pay for.”
