“Cruise control intermittent function...may not turn on, may not turn off, may not disconnect or cancel at speed, may not cancel at speed with brake pedal. Bought the truck in march, 2020. No problems until june 12, 2020, when it failed to work consistently. Dealer wants $150 to diagnose, even though it was reported to FCA in may of 2018. …”
NHTSA complaint #11330566, filed 2020-06, 53,000 miles“Cruise control failed to disconnect. Upon repeated attempts to disengage the cruise control unit, the speed increased incrementally with each attempt. Holding the cancel button caused the unit to appear to disengage, but releasing the cancel button caused the unit to reengage and accelerate. Now, unit is inoperative.”
NHTSA complaint #11192380, filed 2019-03, 26,092 miles“It has been 3 years of our ABS failing due to a Brake HCU not being replaced. Now the engine light comes on due to issues with the Electronic Braking System. We cannot use this to travel due to the cruise control going out as soon as the ABS light goes on which is every 5 minutes. Why is this allowed to be on recall but ‘ no fix has been determined’?!!!! We need answers.”
NHTSA complaint #11734997, filed 2026-04“I am getting an error concerning the antilock brakes on my truck. This error is random shows up every few days. When it does show up it dings every thirty seconds and does not stop, which is very distracting. Also shuts off the cruise control. It took a copy of the recall to my local dodge dealer and they will not fix it.”
NHTSA complaint #11736971, filed 2026-05“We receive a ABS/ECS, electronic brake control warning intermittently. This also makes the cruise control shutoff. We had the ABS control module replaced once at roughly 12000 miles under warranty but it now is giving the same warnings and the truck currently has 22000 miles on it. My dealer stated this was a known issue and stated it’s fairly common on my model truck”
