“The front windshield has a large crack from the top middle to the middle left on the passenger’s side. I didn’t notice anything hit it, just got in the car and it was there. It is available for inspection, but with the length of the crack I don’t feel safe driving it. I’ve read reviews online that the new Camry’s windshield is a faulty. Can you please look into this?”
NHTSA complaint #11660395, filed 2025-05“Driver side windshield wiper constantly streaks on the return stroke despite replacing the wiper blades several times. This creates difficulty seeing when raining. I have tried several different brands (including Toyota OEM) wiper blades and they ALL streak on the driver side directly in the line of sight. This apparently is a known issue and I would like it fixed but the dealer will not do anything about it.”
NHTSA complaint #11771556, filed 2026-10“Wiper blades motor is way too slow. This is on high and dangerously to slow to operate my vehicle in semi heavy rainfall. All my other vehicles are way faster. The 2025 hybrid is the unsafest to drive in rain. Online many have stated same issues. One owner mentioned coming here to report it.”
NHTSA complaint #11700703, filed 2025-11“I have had the windshield, windshield wipers, and the wiper arms replaced on my car. The wipers streak the windshield in the field of vision. Claim was opened with toyota toyota stated that this is a common characteristic in that model of car.”
NHTSA complaint #11769403, filed 2026-10“I am reporting a recurring safety defect involving the front bumper assembly on my brand-new Toyota Camry Hybrid. The front bumper repeatedly detaches, separates, and pulls away from the vehicle during normal driving conditions. This has occurred multiple times despite repeated repair attempts by the authorized Toyota dealership. Toyota and the dealership have acknowledged that this is a known issue affecting other vehicles and have admitted that there is currently no permanent repair remedy available. …”
